Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the CHSL official notification for the recruitment of 2536 LDC, JSA & DEO posts. The online application process will begin on 07 September 2026, and the last date to apply is 07 October 2026. Candidates must be 18 to 27 years old to be eligible for this recruitment.

Application Fee
The application fee for SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026 is Rs. 100 for General, OBC, and EWS male candidates. Women candidates of all categories, and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) categories eligible for reservation, are exempted from paying the fee.

Payment can be made online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or Visa / MasterCard / Maestro / RuPay debit cards up to 8 October 2026 (23:00 hrs). The fee, once paid, is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted against any other examination.
Age Limit
The age limit for SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026 is 18 to 27 years, reckoned as on 1 August 2026. This means candidates born not before 2 August 1999 and not later than 1 August 2008 are eligible to apply.
Qualification Detail
A candidate must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from certain specified countries with the intention of permanently settling in India. Candidates in the latter categories require an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.
