  • Phase 1 (Aug 17) and Phase 2 (Aug 18): Selected PGT, TGT and non-teaching posts
  • Phase 3 & 4 (Aug 21): PGT History, PGT Economics, TGT Work Experience, PGT Chemistry, Assistant Commissioner, Junior Translator

For posts where an interview or skill test is part of the selection process, the Tier 2 result currently shows only the shortlisting status; CBSE has indicated that full marksheets for these posts will be released within 15 days after the final result is published, once interviews are completed.

Cut Off Marks

Official post-wise and category-wise Tier 2 cut-off marks have not been released in a published table by CBSE, KVS or NVS as of this update. Candidates should refer only to the marks shown against their own login on the official portal (where applicable) and wait for any official cut-off notice before drawing conclusions.

Merit List / Selection Status

A candidate’s result page shows their individual shortlisting status for the post applied for. This indicates whether the candidate has qualified to proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process for that specific phase and post. Final selection depends on the complete process, including document verification and, where applicable, an interview or skill test. Candidates should not consider themselves selected based solely on the Tier 2 shortlisting status.

Further Selection Process

Based on the official updates, the process after the Tier 2 result includes:

  • Skill Test / Interview for posts where this is part of the selection process
  • Document Verification of shortlisted candidates
  • Preparation of the final merit list after completion of the above stages

Candidates shortlisted for a post requiring an interview or skill test will receive further instructions through their application login.
